Good morning, and welcome to today’s Monday Morning Message! The holidays arrive fast—and the difference between feeling overwhelmed and feeling on-purpose is preparation. This season isn’t just about dates on a calendar; it’s a chance to deepen relationships, finish the year strong, and set momentum for January.

Here’s how we’ll keep it simple and effective:

1. Plan the calendar, then protect it. Block out family traditions, client events, school concerts. Then schedule business priorities around those anchors. What gets scheduled gets done.
2. Lead with gratitude. Make a short list of friends, partners, and neighbors you want to thank personally. A quick call, handwritten note, or doorstep drop-by goes further than any ad.
3. Create one signature touch. Pick a single, memorable gesture (cookie drop, cocoa & photos, or toy drive,) and execute it well. Consistency beats complexity.
4. Mind your margins. Set a holiday budget (gifts, events, mailers) and stick to it. Thoughtful beats expensive every time.
5. Refuel, don’t just run. Protect sleep, movement, and quiet time. The people we serve deserve our best—and so do our families.

One thing I like to do, when I’m out taking a walk, is to challenge myself to look for three things in my environment: something surprising, something beautiful, and something kind.

It gives me a sense of accomplishment once I check off everything on the list.
